We are a german company who own a website for trainee traineeships (in german called "ausbildung").
There is no translation into other languages. However, since we get a lot of traffic from abroad, we have created an English landing page and a banner that points to the landing page if the user has a location other than Germany.
As the Google bot does not access our site from Germany, the banner is visible to Google.
Is it a problem that Google sees this banner on every page?
And does it make sense to hide the banner for Google, and if so, how?
I have attached a screenshot from the Google cache.
I'd not trust the cache as a way to see what Googlebot sees. Do a URL Inspection in the Search Console, "TEST LIVE URL", "VIEW TEST PAGE" then "SCREENSHOT".
