Hi Anubhav,
There's many different ways to get your favorite LLM to categorize keywords. There's a lot of trial and error involved. You'll have to make adjustments to help train the LLM to provide the correct output. Also there is LLM fatigue when using large amounts of keywords. They hit a wall after a while and start providing bad output.
Here's a prompt you can try out. Definitely adjust it to your needs.
You are an SEO. Your goal is to categorize the following list of keywords based on their relevance to our product lines.
Categories:
Technology: Keywords related to software, hardware, and tech innovations.
Lifestyle: Keywords associated with daily living, health, and leisure activities.
Education: Keywords related to learning, schooling, and educational resources.
Business: Keywords related to business operations, management, and entrepreneurship.
Guidelines:
Consider the primary association of the keyword; some may fit multiple categories but choose the one most relevant.
For ambiguous keywords that don't clearly fit into one category, consider their most likely context in relation to our products.
If a keyword seems irrelevant to all categories, place it in a separate 'Uncategorized' list.
Examples:
'Smartphone' -> Technology
'Yoga mat' -> Lifestyle
'Online courses' -> Education
'Startup growth' -> Business
Format:
Please categorize the keywords in a table format with two columns: Keyword and Category. Ensure each keyword is placed next to its corresponding category.
Keyword optimization is a great way to be ahead of others, but the emphasis is not just on incorporating job-related keywords but also in the understanding of the language your potential market uses. Keyword research is needed so that job postings align seamlessly with candidate search behaviour. Think of it from the candidate’s perspective… “If I were in this market what would stand out to me?” Content is king, the importance of creating compelling, informative, and SEO-optimized content across all recruitment platforms. This can be in job descriptions, company profiles, blog posts and career pages, all content should not only resonate with candidates but also be structured to meet SEO best practices.
