Our developers have informed me that they will soon be optimizing the way our pages are built. This should result in fewer and smaller CSS and JS files. Unfortunately, the changes will be rolled out to all our pages at once. For this reason, I need to determine if the changes have any negative impact on Google's crawling/rendering and how Google sees our pages/content.
What I will do:
1. see if the page renders in Chrome and all content is visible and styling is correct
2. step 1 but without JavaScript
3. crawl/ rendering with Screamingfrog: check rendered page and blocked resources report
4. also Screamingfrog: comparison of plain vs. rendered visible content
5. GTmetrix report and comparison
Do you have any other tools/ideas to help me with this?
